About Me
- Name: Germantown Community Farm
For a rural community to thrive in the 21st century, we need to work within traditional models of self-sufficiency while simultaneously building local and broader social networks. We want to create a physical space and a forum for community sustainability. Our 60 acre collective farm in Germantown aims to connect with and support our community through projects based in sustainability and creativity. We have been a functioning collective for a bit less than four years and work in symbiosis with our sister community, the Bob, 20 miles away. We are examining the intersection between the cultivated and the wild, working to implement more simple and sustainable systems.

hiya guys!! beautiful photos. looking at your photos make my heart drop. so much fun out there and i'd like to believe that i can make it out there some soon ish. i wanted to let ya'll know that the trailer is done. we'll be sending you a copy soon and the film film is in the works. watching the footage of it now. i know sascha talked to bilen from bluestockings about our showing it there and having him talk. just contact me at sheetslg@yahoo.com i'd also like to ask questions on presenting it and if i should leave the name of your place anonymous??? any ways, keep up the bad ass work and love love love******lara
